Phu Yen High-Tech Agricultural Zone Management Board was approved by the Prime Minister under Decision No. 2292/QD-TTg dated November 27, 2013 and established under Decision No. 1037/QD-UBND dated July 2, 2014 of the People's Committee of Phu Yen Province on the establishment of Phu Yen High-Tech Agricultural Zone Management Board.

          It is one of 10 agricultural zones approved by the Prime Minister under Decision No. 575/QD-TTg dated May 4, 2015 on the approval of the Master Plan for high-tech agricultural zones and regions until 2020 and orientation to 2030.

          The location of the High-tech Agricultural Zone is in Hoa Quang Bac commune, Phu Hoa district, Phu Yen province, with an investment area of ​​phase 1 of 460 hectares. 12 km from Tuy Hoa city center, 24 km from Tuy Hoa airport, 39 km from the main port (Bai Goc port), 44 km from Vung Ro port, 80 km from Bac Song Cau backup port, convenient for transportation by road, waterway and air.
